15 Year Annivesary Recap

What a remarkable weekend! There is no other way to express it.
This weekend:
- The LIVESTRONG Challenge and Ride for the Roses hosted 4,308 riders—an increase from 2,698 riders last year.
- The Challenge and Ride for the Roses raised $1.7 million.
- The gala raised nearly $2.5 million—the largest fundraising night in Austin history and an incredible result for our first such event in years.
LIVESTRONG is a movement, a community and a family made up of people like you who take “leadership” to a whole new level. Your support and time are both necessary ingredients in allowing us to do what we do on behalf of cancer survivors everywhere.
Due to your support, we are able to provide our free direct services and also advocate on behalf of people living with cancer worldwide. Your contributions have helped create programs and resources like our partnership with the YMCA, Fertile Hope, our free LIVESTRONG Guidebooks, the Community Impact Project and global access to improved care.
You make those activities and partnerships happen, and we deeply appreciate your time, energy and generosity.
LIVESTRONG will continue to serve people living with cancer, as we always have with substantive, creative and innovative partnerships. Our team of 100 passionate individuals based in Austin, Texas, is thankful to you and we look forward to working with you, as well, in the coming years to improve people’s lives who are battling cancer.
