HRH Dina Mired Visits LIVESTRONG Headquarters

HRH Princess Dina Mired has led the King Hussein Cancer Foundation in Jordan as Director General since 2002. As a mother of a cancer survivor, she knows firsthand the challenges cancer brings to patients and their families. The Lance Armstrong Foundation and Princess Dina have worked on a number of initiatives together including the 2009 LIVESTRONG Global Cancer Summit in Dublin and the Global Task-Force on Cancer Control in Developing Countries.
Princess Dina graciously agreed to sit down with us at our headquarters in Austin, Texas today to discuss the global cancer burden and the importance of collaboration in the cancer community. We are honored to host her and look forward to working more closely together in the future.
