Celebs at ACC Golf Talk LIVESTRONG and Cancer Survivorship


The 2012 American Century Championship Celebrity Golf Classic benefiting The Lance Armstrong Foundation runs through this weekend in NBC. Celebrities from all over sports and entertainment are taking part and showing their support for people affected by cancer. ACC caught up with a few of the weekend’s celebrities and asked them what LIVESTRONG means to them.

CNN Chief Medical Corespondent and Lance Armstrong Foundation Board Member, Sanjay Gupta says LIVESTRONG means empowerment in the face of cancer.

Brandi Chastain, former pro soccer player, talks about her personal connection to cancer.

Aaron Rodgers, NFL quarterback, says LIVESTRONG is about returning to life after cancer.

Digger Phelps, former basketball coach and cancer survivor, talks about how important early detection is to the fight against the disease.
