B Strong Boulder

The second annual Celestial Seasoning B Strong Ride cycling event will take place on Saturday, August 11. The ride is a fundraiser for local and national cancer causes, including LIVESTRONG, the George Karl Foundation and the new inpatient cancer wing at Boulder Community Hospital.
In 2011, B Strong Ride’s first year, the event won honors as LIVESTRONG’s top national fundraising Partnered Event. This year B Strong will also be partnering with Denver Nuggets’ Head Coach George Karl and the newly formed George Karl Foundation.
The event featured three ride options starting and finishing at Celestial Seasonings’ Boulder headquarters:
- Mountain Loop – 69 miles through the mountains north and west of Boulder
- Countryside Loop – 24 miles through rolling terrain north of Boulder
- Mini B – One mile loops on the Celestial Seasonings campus for children 10 and under
B Strong Ride will also feature an outstanding slate of live musical entertainment at Celestial Seasonings throughout the day and after the rides are over.
Event registration fees are $80 for adults and $45 for students and riders under 18. Riders also raise funds for the event’s beneficiaries. “Mini B” registration is $10. Registration is available online at bstrongride.com. We hope to see you there!
