Young Adults, Fertility and Cancer

by

This week is Young Adult Cancer Awareness Week – a week set aside to highlight the struggles of people affected by cancer ages 15-39. Why are YA’s so special? There are many reasons. Young adults are finishing up school, starting families and careers. They are finding out who they are and what they want to be. Needless to say, young adults face a unique set of challenges.

Want to know the good news? LIVESTRONG has special programs and initiatives that help young adults with cancer deal with these challenges. We help remove the roadblocks that keep young people from a full life after cancer. One of the ways we do this is by providing free education and discounts on fertility preservation. Watch Sarah’s story below, read her story on our website and contact us if you need more information about our fertility preservation support. Having kids after cancer is POSSIBLE for many. Great news!
