Nike Team LIVESTRONG Athlete: Julian Wilson

On February 4th, World Cancer Day, Nike celebrated the 28 million fighting the disease by launching Nike Team LIVESTRONG, a group of dedicated, world-class athletes uniting to bring hope, courage and inspiration to the 28 million cancer survivors worldwide. Nike Team LIVESTRONG athletes have each been personally affected by cancer and they stand together with Lance to raise awareness for the disease.
Last week, Nike released the first of their Nike Team LIVESTRONG athlete videos. Below is the first of these stories- Australian Professional surfer Julian Wilson. Julian is looking forward to kicking off his 2012 season with a solid performance in his hometown state of Queensland, Australia. Julian’s mother is a breast cancer survivor and he is very strong advocate for early detection and awareness. Catch him surfing big waves from Australia to Hawaii in a LIVESTRONG yellow wetsuit.
