It’s Time for The Mellow Johnny’s Classic, March 3-4

Sometimes it actually is about the bike, and this weekend, March 3-4, 2012 that is exactly the case at The Mellow Johnny’s Classic mountain bike race west of Austin, Texas. One of Team LIVESTRONG’s events, the race venue has relocated to the Flat Creek Crossing Ranch about 35 miles west of Austin. The ranch has over eight miles of excellent single track trails, and will have age and experience categories that will allow anyone from the newest racer to the most experienced pro to come out and give it a shot! There are many reasons to come out this weekend:
You love bikes:
There’s a FREE kick off party at Mellow Johnny’s open to everyone (no riding required whatsoever) on Friday March 2, at 7pm. Meet the pros, pick up your packets- if you are racing- and enjoy some free libations.
You want a course sneak peak:
There will also be two pre-ride opportunities March 1-2 for racers who want a sneak peek and non-racers who want to just give the course a go.
