Bringing Fashion and LIVESTRONG Together

What started out as a backyard brainstorm between two friends has now grown into an exciting, new LIVESTRONG Partnered Event, unlike any other!
On April 5th, the first inaugural Dress 4 Yellow Fashion Show & Luncheon will take place in Dallas, Texas. With over 400 anticipated attendees, including celebrity guests and world-renowned designers, the day will be focused on raising funds to support cancer survivors through valued LIVESTRONG programs.
“We have partnered with 30 world-renowned designers to showcase ‘yellow-inspired’ looks for the Dress 4 Yellow runway, some of them original creations, which will be auctioned off, along with the favorite yellow accessories from some of Hollywood’s most famous faces, “ says Lee Nagel, co-founder of Dress 4 Yellow. “There is truly something for everyone in this event.”
Participating designers include Ralph Lauren, Elie Tahari, Carmen Marc Valvo, Donna Karan, Isaac Mizrahi, Catherine Malandrino, Christina Siriano, Zang Toi, Thakoon, Sachin + Babi, David Meister, Cole Haan, and others.
“And wait until you see the original “Yellow Rose” boots being created by Justin Boots,” says Nagel.
“We wanted to think outside the box in terms of our fundraising efforts,” says Jennifer Applbaum, co-founder of Dress 4 Yellow. “We all know the power of the color yellow and what is has come to mean to those of us who support LIVESTRONG, but we wanted to see how far we could push it in a fun, unique way. Dress 4 Yellow is providing an opportunity for a new group of LIVESTRONG supporters to get involved in the global fight against cancer.”
In addition to the fashion portion of the event, there are also 5 amazing raffle prizes, including a trip to New York for an exclusive shopping experience at Tory Burch and Bobbi Brown; a trip to Los Angeles for a private experience with TOM’s Shoes founder Blake Mycoskie; a day at the Dallas flagship Neiman Marcus store; a shoe wardrobe from Isola Footwear for one lucky winner; and a Kendra Scott jewelry party for several lucky recipients!
Dress 4 Yellow is the fourth event created and produced by the 4 Yellow Foundation, who has contributed more than $1,000,000 to LIVESTRONG through their Swing Fore Yellow, Ski 4 Yellow, and Ride 4 Yellow events since 2009.
“After 14 months of planning, it is so exciting to have the event so close,” says Applbaum. “It’s time to send these beautiful, yellow creations down the runway and make a difference in the fight against cancer.”
