LIVESTRONG Expanding Services in 2012
by Brooke McMillan1 Comment
This year we served more people than ever before through our navigation services- over 14,000 people by phone and online. Our LIVESTRONG Cancer Navigation Center opened in East Austin in 2011 with the hope of serving a few hundred people in person our first year. We far exceeded our expectations and have served 1,300+ people face-to-face. To say that we were blown away by the response is an understatement.
The services provided range from help with insurance issues and employment discrimination, clinical trial matching, emotional support, fertility preservation assistance, post-treatment physical rehabilitation classes, and so much more. Our goal is to continue to increase the number of people we serve and we cannot do that without your support. Please make a donation today.
Whatever you can give, whatever the amount, will help us serve those in need find the strength and courage to face cancer head on. Visit www.livestrong.org/TougherTogether
