“Fight like hell!”- Lance Armstrong
Created with flickr slideshow.LIVESTRONG is fighting like hell for all those that will die from all noncommunicable disease. 60% of all deaths are caused by NCDs- heart and lung diseases, diabetes and cancer- That’s 36 million lives lost. This year’s UN Summit is all about fighting NCDs and to kick off the Summit, Nike held a special “Fight Like Hell” run yesterday in honor of those affected by the world’s largest killers. Lance Armstrong, NFL linebacker Dhani Jones, LIVESTRONG CEO Doug Ulman, and Nike Team LIVESTRONG triathletes Laurel and Rebeccah Wassner, along with 400 others, hit the streets Sunday in support of those facing disease.
