This Summer?s UN Global Health Summit is our chance to make cancer a global priority. Sign on and tell world leaders to fight the global cancer crisis.

I just added my name to LIVESTRONG‘s Open Letter calling on world leaders to step up and fight the global cancer crisis at the UN Summit on non-communicable diseases this September. I lost both grandfathers and my father to cancer. I know what it feels like to hear, “You have cancer.” I could list several reasons and personal cancer losses of the past, but today, I hold my granddaughter and speak for her, with the dream that she won’t have to deal with cancer the way her family has in the past. Please join me and spend a few seconds to help someone you love.
