Albany’s Ronald McDonald House Gives Thanks

Below is an email to LIVESTRONG staff from our Community Program Manager, Jordan Parks. He received an email from one of the recipients of the LIVESTRONG Community Impact Project. The organization’s show of thanks is truly inspiring.

Hello all,

This was too good not to share. The Ronald McDonald House in Albany, NY is one of the sites that will receive the new SuperSibs! Model Program Award. Today they gave all of the kids wristbands and told them about LIVESTRONG, they then surprised the kids by telling them we selected them to receive the SuperSibs! program. The kids were so excited they asked if they could make a thank you poster (see below). Just a reminder as we all go from meeting to meeting, conference call to yet another call, and spend hours in airports?all of that work does pay off and we?re making a positive change out there.
