Featured Commitment Maker: CanKids.KidsCan

At the LIVESTRONG Global Cancer Summit Nearly 300 organizations, individuals, leaders and corporations made formal Commitments. As a way of highlighting their immense efforts in battling this disease, we will feature different organizations, sharing stories of progress and success from around the globe.
CanKids.KidsCan, is a family support group for children with cancer and their families based in New Delhi, India. They are dedicated to the cause of providing cancer care to the community. CanKids offers medical assistance, educational assistance, runs activity and education programs for children, takes them on outings, celebrate birthdays, and other emotional support, information and guidance from moment of diagnosis through treatment and after, to the child and their families. They believe that no child should suffer due to lack of finances and that no child should go through cancer alone.
To date, CanKids has helped over 2000 children, offered medical assistance to over 650 children for their treatment and educational assistance to over 130 children to encourage them to continue with their education as soon a their treatment permits them.
