This Wednesday, I will be returning to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital for the St Jude Life Study. This amazing study is helping me by assessing and addressing late effects and future cancer survivors by understanding long term survivorship.

Now, I get this is an amazing huge study that I’m lucky – and happy – to be a part of. But this is the first time I’ve been back to St Jude’s since I was in my teens and I’m walking back through the front door where they uttered those words “you have cancer”. GULP! I’ll spend 3 days getting checked out and in my extra time talking with folks about my favorite topic – helping students impacted by cancer.
