Nike LIVESTRONG Golf Bag Auction

by

This summer, our friends at Nike helped celebrate Lance?s return to professional cycling and the global fight against cancer by creating LIVESTRONG Summer wherein Nike athletes wore yellow while competing in their sport. The golf community came out in huge support of LIVESTRONG Summer with athletes competing in various PGA and LPGA tournaments, as well as the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship at Lake Tahoe. Nike created special LIVESTRONG golf shirts and the most coveted of all LIVESTRONG Summer products, a one-of-a-kind LIVESTRONG golf bag.

    Mr. Armstrong, Advisory Board and the entire Livestrong Army;

    I am a cancer survivor! I love one of the comments a survivor shared on one of your promotional vidoes. He said, “Cancer can leave your body, but it never leaves your life. Amen! Cancer has left my body and my passion is to share that wonderful news with the world and get the world engaged in the “Waging War on Cancer”, through the Livestrong Army. Cancer can be beat and people need to know that!

    My desire is to organize events and travel around the country raising cancer awareness. I love what LAF stands for and I know I can be instrumental in fundraising efforts as well as one on the front line who can share my experience of what it took to conquer cancer.

    As a Nike product endorser I love what they are doing with the Livestrong apparel. One thing Nike has not yet done is to come up with a Nike Neuopathy Technology footwear. One of the most frustrating things a cancer patient (and diabetic patients) struggle with is neuopathy. No shoe manufacturer has addressed this issue and I would love to share my thoughts with Nike and LAF on this matter. I only want to be aligned with Nike in this venture and to be endorsed by LAF as I walk across America with these new shoes. I want the proceeds of these shoe sales to go to the Lance Armstrong Foundation. I trust what you doing, I want to get involved and I am passionate about joining you in this fight.

    Keep up the Livestrong work!

    Blessings.
