Celebrate LIVESTRONG Day at Work

by

LIVESTRONG Day 2009 will create a global day of action in the cancer fight one person, one act and one location at a time. October 2, 2009, the anniversary of Lance Armstrong?s cancer diagnosis, represents a day of challenge and hope.

We want to empower you, your company and your customers to act locally this LIVESTRONG Day and stand in solidarity with the 28 million cancer survivors around the world. Our collective acts will broadcast hope and amplify a simple message: There can be ? and should be ? life after cancer for more people.

You don?t have to be a nonprofit or research institute to battle cancer. If your company?s acts inspire hope for one person you will be making an invaluable contribution to this fight. Join us by registering your actions and those of your company online at www.livestrongaction.org/map.

Afterwards- I will head to my late husband’s chemo room with a box of yellow smilely face cookies for those in treatment with the reminder to LIVESTRONG- and a box of LiveStrong bands for those that don’t have them and a personal note on my Livestrong post cards for everyone there- TO LIVESTRONG- Keep up the fight!
