Hey, LA and NYC: It's About You!

Our partners at Nike have been working tirelessly to help spread the LIVESTRONG message on the roads of the Tour de France, but they haven?t forgotten about everyone back here in the States wanting to get involved in the cause. Nike?s planned two amazing events here in the U.S. to spread the LIVESTRONG message, so if you live in Los Angeles or New York City, take note ? we want to see you out and about this weekend wearing yellow, chalking your messages of hope, and supporting Lance and LIVESTRONG.
If you attend either one of these events, be sure to bring your camera and document your experience. You can then upload images to the ?It?s About You? photo collage.

Los Angeles
Nike is turning baseball yellow at Dodger Stadium, Saturday July 18th for the 7:10 p.m. game against the Houston Astros. Nike will be bringing a unique LIVESTRONG experience to LA in collaboration with the Los Angeles Dodgers and ThinkCure!, the official charity of the Dodgers. A chalk artist will be creating an installation at the Center Field Gate before game time and fans will be able to add their messages of hope and inspiration in yellow chalk. LIVESTRONG friends Jeff and Grady Castelaz will throw out the first pitch in memory of Pablo Castelaz. Nike will also present a generous $5,000 donation to ThinkCure! for their amazing efforts in the fight against cancer.

LIVESTRONG will be taking over Macy?s Herald Square in New York City, Sunday July 19th from 12-5 p.m. A local chalk artist will create an art piece in front of Macy?s main entrance on Broadway, and the public will be invited to chalk their messages of hope, inspiration and support on giant roadway art installations. The new Nike ?Driven? LIVESTRONG commercial will be playing on a Jumbotron and shoppers can pop into the store to purchase the Nike LIVESTRONG line of apparel.
