Beyond these great programs, the LAF has educational and support resources, including age-appropriate cancer education curricula called LIVESTRONG at School, available on our website at www.LIVESTRONG.org/school

There are LIVESTRONG Leaders positioned across the state to support community members interested in becoming more involved in the fight against cancer. Find LIVESTRONG Leaders in your area.

Thank you again for your support. Pictures from the event will be uploaded soon to the LIVESTRONG Flickr account.

I rode my first LiveStrong Challenge sunday. I opted for the 45 mile ride. I was amazed at the amount of climbing we had to do on our bikes. The last 5 miles was brutal. I loved every minute of it though. Thanks to all that rode/volunteered. Really makes you feel good inside to do something of this magnitude to help others out. Wish more of the planet would take part in events like this.

    Wow! What a great event!

The weather cooperated, and from last account I think we had 2,500 participants, 600 volunteers and over $1 million raised in the fight against cancer. Thank you – THANK YOU – to everyone who helped make this event such a great success!

Yes, we had hills – but that also means a few good downhills/descents, too, eh? Everyone I saw on the road had a good smile on their face, and I think the route around the Seattle region was extraordinary with its beautiful views – both urban and rural.

Seattle is an awesome city on so many levels – please do come again to visit … !

LIVESTRONG, my friends – and now, on to San Jose, Philly and Austin!

This was my 3rd Livestrong Challenge. Two in Portland and this one in Seattle. Had great 70 mile ride. Lots of climbing, but climbing is part of cycling in Washington. Thanks to everyone who help putting this event on. Looking forward to Austin, Texas Livestrong Challenge. I was riding in Memories of 18 family and friends who all die from cancer. Thanks Livestrong for me to helping fight against cancer.

Rode my first LiveStrong Challenge on Sunday in Seattle. Great day to go out and pick a fight against Cancer. Put in a 100 miles and had an awesome time with all the LiveStrong riders.

This was my 4th Livestrong ride and one of the toughest! I feel priviledged to be able to ride in these events for all who have fought cancer – those living and those who fought a very tough battle and lost. Next stops- San Jose, Philly, and Austin. Game On!!!!!!

Great time. I wasn’t able to ride, but I volunteered for the Livestrong Challenge in Seattle. What a great event. I was really moved by the spirit of the Survivors, and the dedication to the cause that has united all of us together. The Armstrong Foundation is such a classy operation. Thanks to all of you, for the oportunity. Jon

The entire Livestrong group gave me great run on Sunday. I picked a fight with Cancer 2.5 years ago and I run because I can and for those who are still fighting. I cant wait until next year.
