Congratulations to Doug from the Emerald Isle!! We are trying to get the "Ball Rolling" in Ireland. Ireland's first " Wear Yellow" Charity Ball will be held on June 4th 2009 at Galgorm Manor, Ballymena, N.Ireland. The event has been organised by the staff at Rosconnor Clinic to raise money for the LAF and raise the profile of the Livestrong gobal campaign in Ireland North and South. We hope this will get the party started for the more serious issues to addressed at Global Summit in Dublin come August.

Congratulations again Doug and LAF - as a young adult with cancer (and fully 20 years younger than just about anyone else in the support group at my cancer center), I'm a huge fan of the Young Adult Alliance concept and am thrilled to see what great stuff you will be doing with that program and the amazing donation.
