Join us in the Windy City this fall, October 11, 2009 to run with Team LIVESTRONG! You may have heard that this course if flat and so it?s a perfect marathon for the first timer and with wave starting, it?s also a great marathon for anyone to set a personal record. This course is also full of many good distractions that will pull you to the Finish Line and 26.2. Some of those distractions are amazing crowd participation, loud and boisterous cheering, some parts of the course are 4 people deep with spectators, as though they?re all there for a parade and you?re the float they want to see!! Another good distraction is the scenery. You have open roads in Chicago and will never see the beautiful architecture of the city this way.

The most important reason to join up with Team LIVESTRONG in Chicago this October is to raise money so that the Foundation can continue its mission: to inspire and empower those affected by cancer. We have a fundraising minimum set at $2500 and some team activities during the weekend. You will receive a Team LIVESTRONG running shirt and cap as well! You will meet new friends from all over the US and World that are taking up the fight on cancer!
