New Blog Launched

Welcome to the new LIVESTRONG Blog. With a new year and a new commitment to taking our fight against cancer global ? we thought it was the perfect time to redesign the blog and make it easier for you to keep up with all that is going on.

Like before we will keep you up to speed by posting on all that is going on at the LAF. We will also continue to provide you with relevant links to articles, photos and videos. But with the new blog there is also more of an opportunity for you to be a part of the conversation. By tagging your YouTube videos, Flickr photos and tweets you will now have a bigger voice to share your thoughts with the community.

We have also added…
? An upcoming events box to let you know where Lance is off to next and where there is opportunity for you to get involved with our LIVESTRONG Global Cancer Campaign.
? A new nav to deliver even more information to you about events, our campaign and who is posting.
? And if you can’t get enough cycling news we are even pulling a feed from our friends at LIVESTRONG.com to show you relevant headlines from their “on Tour with Lance” blog

So take a look around, check out all the new functionality and as always let us know what you think.

    This new design is ultra-chic. Love it! My inner-geek can’t help, but wonder what IT platform it is based on…any hints? :) Considering the news of my cancer relapse over the past week, it’s great to have such an interactive blog site to point family and friends to for information and advocacy. GREAT WORK.

    A new year brings a new and improved version of the livestrongblog.org for the second consecutive year. I love it!

    Congratulations! I know first hand how difficult it is to configure a new web service AND bring all the data from the previous version correctly to the new format.

    Hi guys, I have been at the TDU watching Lance, an awesome event.So great to see him race. I have noticed one thing though, no Livestrong merchandise for sale. I think this would have been a huge opportunity to sell some gear and get lots of $ for the foundation. Maybe next year…
