Hey all,

Sad news over the weekend about former White House press secretary Tony
Snow. Tony died of colon cancer, his second bout with the disease. He
was a courageous soul, a true fighter and a very warm, decent guy. Our
hearts go out to his family, friends and colleagues who face the world
without him now. As many of us rode and ran the San Jose Challenge this
past weekend, we kept them and Tony in our minds, and remembered all the
more clearly why elevating the fight against cancer must be a national
priority.

Those were nice words about Tony, Lance. I didn’t know him but rarely saw him without a smile on TV, even in the worst of times. He was a true fighter, and wore your bracelet proudly and with conviction. He will be remembered very fondly.

Very nice words Lance! I had the chance to meet Tony Snow after his first round with cancer and he was such a wonderful caring man. He will be missed and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Lance, Tony was a caring, loving man of his family,his country,and yoour cause, while in the press room of White Houseyou never saw him without a smile and his livestrong band. He was by far the smartest man in that room.

Tony Snow will long be remembered for the way he fought and survived cancer.
He was a caring man who loved his family, country, and cared for others.
The way he was treated by some in the press was atrocious. He gave us all a model for fighting and surviving cancer in a dignified way.

Tony had a tremendous heart and soul. My heart broke when I heard the news of his passing. He LivedStrong and loved strong. He is now the brightest star in the night sky.

Having neat material, listening to a guy whose knowledge besides his hospitatlity made material easy to understand kept him up, he always led you into array, rather than dissaray. He took alot of us into more news for our worthiness, keeping us up and at the same time inspiring us.
