Nothing says New England like a church pot luck on a 50 degree May day 
Last night I was lucky enough to share a LIVESTRONG Day pot luck dinner with Scott Joy (shown in pic) and his fellow parishioners at the Stratham Community Church. As we sat around and mingled, it was heart warming how this community welcomed me and was so interested in my trip and what my fellow staffers were doing for LSDAY.
After a delicious meal, Scott read the Manifesto to the group. It’s interesting how every person seems to identify with a different line of this compelling pledge.
Amy, from Exeter Hospital, then spoke about the collaborative treatments they offer patients (personal training, art therapy, massages). Scott and I will be headed over there today to see their facilities and celebrate the opening of an art show. We’ll be handing out information, hearing about others’ experiences, and encouraging people to utilize the discount on LIVESTRONGChallenge.org for 50% off registration.
