I’m in Atlanta, Georgia today with LIVESTRONG Day organizer Janet Kempe and LIVESTRONG Army Captain Kathy Pollard. We just left our first stop of 4. This picture is from SEGO Chemo Suite Northside, the people I met there were amazing!!! It was very inspirational to meet the incredible medical professionals, caregivers who are there to support the patients, and then the patients…the words that come to mind: courageous, tough, beautiful and hopeful. This is what LIVESTRONG Day is about…. It was truly an honor to meet everyone there and they have inspired me to do more in the fight….as a cancer survivor and as someone who cares!

    Please to see this pic of the Sego staff today! My sister has been blessed by them and I was thrilled to be able to see this today when so much is going on! I am out in St. Louis and away from the action! How I wish I could be there today. You’ve got a fine captain there in Kathy Pollard!
